  1. I like this approach. I haven't tried the almonds idea but I certainly will. Have you tried the "banana smoothie" recipe that is going around? Low fat and tastes great.

    8 oz skim milk
    1/2 frozen banana (cut up before freezing)
    1 tsp maple syrup

    Just blend all the ingredients in a cup using an immersion blender.

    Very yummy and filling too.
